Wow, Google Glass!

By: Nurul Fadzrena bt. Bini

I’m sure by now, most of us already heard about Google Glass. This wearable gadget gives people who use it the first-person’s view of the experience.  This product was developed by Google. It’s amazing how the developer can squeeze all of its features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, speakers, a camera, microphone, touchpad and possibly gyroscope that can detects head-tilts in the main piece.

Google glass has voice input, which can make everything more interesting than before. The built-in microphone that combines with Google now can connects users directly to the search engine. Now, Google Glass users can live in the moment and keep every moment they want in video or pictures by just say, “take a photo” and your picture is capture, hands free. Wow!

Google Glass also can show your social network notification and let users communicate via the same channel as you do on the computer.

There are many things you need to about Google Glass. But, there are also those who criticize this product.

So, what do you think about Google Glass?

  1. I would love to own one of these! It is amazing how technology transforms our lives and daily experiences. Now I can capture all the sweet and bitter moments of my life with a spectacles-camera. Yay, one step closer to Ironman's JARVIS!

  2. Totally agree with Qiu Xi! As a person that loves to travel I found that google glass is easier to carry compared to the huge DSLR. If the quality is going to be the same as your eyes experience, why use your hands to carry a heavy ones and capture slow in capturing the moments?

  3. Not to be such a killjoy here, but I find that gadget glass ugly. I'm not really as fascinated as you guys are. I mean would you want to wear that horrid, huge spectacle on your face, and having thrown stares when you're walking down the street? Perhaps, I'm just not fond of the design or the size of it. An innovative gadget indeed, definitely more useful and convenient more than any other gadgets that require more space and hand to carry. Perhaps it would be better if Google Glass could come up with a better design and size, that could be incorporated into a real spectacle. I guess it is just a matter of time.

After this, I can just give instructions to it to take any pictures without wasted any energy into it. Oh my God! I just love it. Bravo Google!
