Hey everyone, the topic for this week is kind of personal isn't it? I get to share with you guys which blogs actually managed to attract my attention and which blogs actually annoyed me. :) Okay, let us start with my favorite blogs first. I have three blogs which I regularly visit and see their updates and all these three blogs comes from different fields. The first blog comes from my favorite author which is Veronica Roth. Who knows her? I am sure some of you actually know her because she is the author /writer for the hit movies which adaptation from the novels of Divergent, Insurgent and coming soon, Allegiant. I am so obsessive towards these kind of stories until I watch the Divergent movie for 5 times already. Yes, I do read the novels as well. So, even though I read the novels and watched the movies, why I still regularly visit Roth's blog? This is because I wants to know her point of view why she make the stories like that and why decided to choose that kind of ending. Moreover, she likes to post her favorite quotes in any novels that she wrote which inspired me. For example:
"My will is mine. I will not make it soft for you."
--Agamemnon, Aeschylus
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
--Dune by Frank Herbert
All these quotes actually are insides the novels which she also get some inspiration towards the quotes by other authors. Plus, her blog is not just about her novels but also about her real life too and her point of view on some certain issues. So, I really suggest you guys to visit her blog and also her new tumblr account.

Okay, the second blogs that I regularly visit is the travel blog named Pakej Murah Korea Muslim Style. These blog is actually my friend's blog who are studying in South Korea and do this travel tour. This blog tell us how Malaysian peoples especially Muslim peoples can visit Korea with low-budget and they will suggest the interesting places to visit and nice and Halal restaurants that Muslim peoples can eat. Moreover, this blog actually inspired me while I did the brochure assignment for Corporate Publishing subject. I used their website as my inspiration for business. Until now, I still looking their blog (recently they upgraded it into their own website) to find the right time and until I have enough budget, then I will go to Korea. Moreover, many peoples actually like their packages because it is affordable and they offer the special packages depends on your budget. If you guys interested, here the link for their Facebook and new website.

The blogs that I regularly visit is the the Kpopers House which contains of Korean dramas, Korean songsand its lyrics and other stuff. Ths admin for this blog is actually a guy from Indonesia which he telling us that his name is Super Smart Chan. A unique name right? Plus, in this blog, I can even download the latest Korean drama which airing the same day as in Korea. We also can talk more stuff about Korea like the the translation of the lyrics about certain songs and our opinion on some certain dramas. For the peoples who are not Kpopers, maybe you will find this blog is kind of annoying because so much thing about KPOP. However, if you guys curious about this blog, here the link:

Now, come the part of my least favorite blog which I kind of annoying to me. To be honest, actually it's hard for me to find the blog that I hate because certainly we do not read the blog that annoyed us, right? However, when I am looking through my Facebook, There is some advertisement about the weight-lose products and they put the link to the blog. Here the link to the blog:
Blog: http://hotmasakini.blogspot.com/2013/08/ubat-kurus-paling-efektif-berkesan-100.html
I feel that this kind of blog is annoying becuase the name itself is hotmasakini.blogspot and if you look the contents, it is hard to believe what they saud about their poducts. For me, I really hate the blog which want to deceive peoples by showing fake testimony and their doubtful products. This blog is actually own by Malaysian which I do not her/his specific name. Therefore, my advice be careful before you believe or want to purchase this kind of products which selling and promotes by their own blog.
Finally, this is all that I can share with you guys. Is there any interesting blog that you guys can suggest for me to look for? Or is there any information above which you unlikely agree with? Share by comment your says pals!:)
Hi Tikah, as someone who has an obsession with bloggers and certain culture, I am having the same ‘disease’. For me, my favourite bloggers/ youtuber and vlogger is Lilly Singh or better known as Superwoman. At first, she becomes a youtuber by making interesting video about facts in life and things that people are afraid to admit. She leads a very simple life which respect and accept others differences despite her funny ways of doing it. Most importantly, she inspires people to do what they want in life and it is okay to dream because she has proved that it is possible. Now, she is doing her own vlog every week to show her daily life. Surprisingly, no vlogs in her page is boring to look at. She does not care about her looks or whatsoever because that’s who she really is. As quoted by her, why we should say sorry by looking like our ownself? Be proud of it! Which the main reason I think she is awesome as a person and I hope one day I can meet someone as cool as her.
ReplyDeleteThat is so interesting. I would love to watch her blog and vlog after you informed me, Wanie! Thanks a lot, dear. :)
Deletefor me, I am not a hardcore blog visitors. I rarely stop at any of the other people's blogs. The first is due to internet connectivity problems. But in the multitude of blogs that I've visited, (so far, I have visited not more than 20 blog), I was intrigued by Lyssa blog - http://www.lyssasecret.com/ this blog .. very cute. try to stop at her blog sometimes. she got so many followers and she is in the first rank from others (personal blog only) blog in Malaysia.
ReplyDeleteHi Atikah. Wow!!! we have the same interest. I love to watch Korean drama and might be one of the kpopers fans too (but not fanatic as you (^_^) ). For me, i don't have any specific blog that i always view or follow. I just simply open any blog that i find it quite interesting and useful if i want to search about recipes and download my favorite movies or TV shows. But, if you want to learn about some recipes, you may view this blog;http://ummizaihadi-homesweethome.blogspot.com/. BUT, make sure your stomach are full enough to view this blog :)
DeleteHi Nur, recipes blog? Wow, seems interesting! I will look into it later. For sure! Thanks for your recommendations, Nur. :)
DeleteI'm glad that we share the same interest on Kpop world. That is what makes us closer. :)
DeleteHi Atikah, it is interesting to know that you’re an avid blog reader because I’m not. I can see that you get to learn a lot of new things just from the blogs. I don’t mean to be a killjoy, unlike you, I’m not a fan of Divergent (I didn’t even know the author of the novel until now. Hey, I learnt something today!=). Neither am I a KPooper or a fan of the Korean culture, so I’m not really as excited as you are or other Korean fans. But just like you, I do enjoy reading blogs where I can learn anything new – computer-related stuff like hacking, for instance. Apart from that, I also enjoy reading personal blogs ranging from my friends to strangers from all around world.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you learnt something from my post because that is my real intention. To inform and share with you guys which blogs I always visited. Hope you can tell me the link for your favorite blog, Venisa. :)
DeleteHi Atikah,
ReplyDeleteNot an offense if you’re a Kpopers because it’s your right to choose :) . For me, I like to read human interest blog which related to current issue. But, I also don’t have any specific blog that I always read and follow and I will read any blog that look interesting. Maria Elena blog is one that I like because I love the way she write
Maria Elena's blog? I would love to know too what did she write in her blog. Thanks, Nurul!
DeleteKind sharing, Tikah. Although I am not a big fan of blogs, I do know some people write good stuff. I appreciate their efforts to provide another perspective for us to see the world. It makes us a wiser adult, to read more and observe more things around us. Conversely, I believe most of us have heard of bold bloggers like Alvivi. So, that is the ugly side of blogging. Excessive liberty to share anything gives immoral people ease to mess with society. Read blogs with caution! Read blogs with benefiting substance.
ReplyDeleteYes, I absolutely agree with you, Qiu Xi. As a smarter adult, we can wisely choose which blog is good and bad for us. I love to quote your statement, "Read blogs with caution! Read blogs with benefiting substance."
DeleteI'm a new blogger. Thank you for sharing this interesting blogs with me. May I know where did you get this information? Do you have a list?
ReplyDeleteRead on Michelle Phan ;)
DeleteHi Yee Man, actually I do not make a list which one do I prefer because my interest is diverse. But if you really into some fiction novels and some memorable quotes, I would suggest you to visit Veronica Roth's blog and also her tumblr. It is simple yet informative. :)
ReplyDeleteI am pleased to find someone who likes Veronica Roth and Kpop as much as I do. As for my interest in blogs, I don't actually visit that many but there is one particular blog that I frequent the most, www.dramabeans.com. This blog by korean Americans does recaps and news on korean dramas in English. It also helps that the bloggers are professional writers so the language used is quite good. As the bloggers are so well-versed with their culture despite being overseas, I get to know more than just information on a drama, I learn about a culture.
